Help Us Support Cobus Through His Fight With Cancer

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out on behalf of my dad, Cobus, the heart of our family. He is currently fighting an incredibly tough battle with cancer.

In 2015, Cobus was diagnosed with prostate cancer and underwent surgery to have his prostate removed. For a while, things seemed to be looking up, but then his PSA levels began to rise drastically. This year we were given the heartbreaking news that the cancer has spread to his lymph nodes. He is now undergoing daily radiation treatment in Campbelltown, which is over a 120km round trip. The toll this has taken — physically, emotionally, and financially — has been immense. On top of the exhausting travel, he is also receiving hormone therapy and managing the many side effects and challenges that come with it.

Cobus has always been a strong, generous, and kind-hearted person and would give the shirt off his back to someone in need.
