Help Support Baby Axel’s Hospital & Funeral Costs

It is with heavy and broken hearts that we share the unimaginable loss of sweet 2-year-old Axel.

I am a family friend creating this GoFundMe on behalf of his mother, Carmen, who is living through every parent’s worst nightmare.

At the beginning of this year, Axel was hospitalized with pneumonia, and the infection became so severe that it affected his heart. He had to undergo heart surgery to remove blood clots, and although his recovery was difficult, he fought bravely.

Just two weeks ago, Axel became sick again and was admitted to the ICU. His condition worsened quickly, and despite every effort from the medical team and the constant love of his family, Axel’s heart could no longer keep fighting, and he gained his wings far too soon.

I am a family friend creating this GoFundMe on behalf of his mother, Carmen, who is going through this devastating time.

All funds raised will go directly to Carmen to help cover:

• Hospital and ICU expenses

• Funeral and burial services

• Any additional costs needed to lay her baby to rest

Axel was a bright, loving, and courageous little boy whose smile brought warmth and joy to everyone around him. His loss has left a pain that no words can ever heal.

Con el corazón destrozado, compartimos la inimaginable pérdida de nuestro dulce Axel, de tan solo 2 años.

Soy amigo de la familia y he creado esta campaña de GoFundMe en nombre de su madre, Carmen, quien está viviendo la peor pesadilla de cualquier padre.

A principios de este año, Axel fue hospitalizado con neumonía, y la infección se agravó tanto que afectó su corazón. Tuvo que someterse a una cirugía cardíaca para extraer coágulos de sangre, y aunque su recuperación fue difícil, luchó con valentía.

Hace apenas dos semanas, Axel enfermó de nuevo y fue ingresado en la UCI. Su estado empeoró rápidamente, y a pesar de todos los esfuerzos del equipo médico y el amor incondicional de su familia, el corazón de Axel no pudo seguir luchando, y falleció demasiado pronto.
