Help Us Support Arnold Agunga’s Recovery and His Family

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Abigael, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help. My dear friend’s father, Arnold Agunga, has been in the Intensive Care Unit at Nightingale Medical Centre in Kisumu, Kenya, since May 8th, 2025. He was admitted after another severe convulsion - one in a long series of episodes he’s endured since suffering a mild stroke in 2022, caused by a clot in his brain.

Arnold, a quiet and dignified 77-year-old who has spent his life supporting others, is now fighting for his own. After a recent critical health episode, he was placed on mechanical ventilation and a feeding tube. On May 27th, he underwent a successful tracheostomy, but he remains in the ICU, unable to speak and still dependent on oxygen support.

While he’s stable, progress has been slow. Doctors have recommended an oxygen concentrator to help maintain his oxygen levels and eventually transition him off the ventilator, a necessary step toward moving him out of the ICU.

Arnold’s family has exhausted their savings covering the growing medical bills. They now face extended hospitalization and the need for long-term home care. Your support through donations or simply sharing this fundraiser can help ease the financial burden and give Arnold a real chance at recovery.

His wife, Edwina, who has been his devoted caretaker, is also unwell. They continue to support three orphaned children, all of whom are still in school.

This fundraiser is an urgent call for help. We’re aiming to raise 30,000 to cover the medical expenses incurred.

Every donation, big or small, has the power to change a life. Your support brings hope, healing, and relief during an incredibly challenging time.

You can make a huge difference by kindly sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, and your community. Your voice can help us reach the hearts of others.

With deep thanks and hope,
Abigael
