Help Us Support Anthony and Honor His Final Wishes

My name is Roxanne, and I am reaching out on behalf of my father, Anthony Ray Blueitt. During this difficult time, we are humbly seeking compassion, support, and generosity.

Those who know Anthony would describe him as one of the most thoughtful and caring individuals you could know - a man with a big heart who is always joking around and love to make others laugh. They can attest to his vibrant personality. He is genuinely warm, talkative, and humorous, with a smile that never fades. He is the son of Vera and Jerry Blueitt. He is a brother, a husband, a father, and a grandfather.

In March of 2022, we took him to the emergency room after he almost passed out in the bathroom and completely lost his ability to walk. He was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer. He underwent radiation and physical therapy in hopes to regain sensation in his legs, and eventually his ability to walk. He also received oral chemotherapy and hormone treatments to slow the progression of the cancer. We were told he had 2 to 6 months to live as the cancer was already so extensive. But Anthony continued to fight, and has made it to see his 63rd birthday.

Anthony’s health, however, has continued to decline. He is now in hospice care at home to allow him time to be surrounded by family and friends. We are making every effort to continue to support, love, and cherish him during this hard time. In our quest to provide Anthony with the necessary medications and supplies, we ask for your support. Every donation received will directly contribute to making him comfortable and honoring his final wishes. We ask that you give what you can and share this campaign with your family, friends, and co-workers.
