Hello, my name is Evelin and I met Allison in 2006 when we worked together at a companion animal hospital. Back then, she was just starting her journey as a veterinary surgery technician(nurse), and even then, it was clear she was exceptionally accomplished. No matter what task she took on, she did it with unmatched dedication and skill. But Allison’s true gift extended beyond her technical expertise; she had an unwavering devotion to her patients. She knew each pet by name, and her healing hands brought comfort to countless animals and their families.

Over the 20ish years I have known Allison, she has worn many hats: running the surgery department, managing a bustling multi-vet practice, working for leading animal health companies, and, most recently, taking on the role of a training and development coach. Her career has been a testament to her passion and relentless drive. But in late 2023, Allison’s bright journey took a devastating turn.

After months of unexplained abdominal pain and countless doctor visits, it wasn’t until she experienced sudden organ failure that the unimaginable was discovered—she was diagnosed with an advanced cancer in March 2024.

Now, instead of spending time as a mother to her beloved daughter and three stepchildren, as a wife to Chris, caring for her pets, or pursuing her new career, Allison is fighting for her life. She’s in a battle no one ever imagines, facing treatments, hospital stays, and an uncertain future.
