It is with a heavy heart that I write this. Our beloved friend, husband, father, son & brother in Christ passed away yesterday, 10/31/2022, due to respiratory complications. He leaves behind his loving wife, Ashley & three beautiful young daughters of God, ages 3,4 and 6, and his wonderful family.
This is extremely sad news indeed. We cannot begin to understand or comprehend the Lord’s plan but as believers, we know and accept that it is good, and we have to trust Him wholeheartedly. James 4:14 reminds us that life is just like a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. “But blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him” James 1:12. My brother Aldo has been crowned with the eternal life that our Lord has promised us.
As children of Christ, James 1:27 calls us to look after widows and orphans in their distress. This beautiful family will face grief and pain that no one should face alone. We ask for your support and prayers during this sad time but mainly prayers. Pray that the Lord gives them the strength, courage and endurance to deal with the difficult weeks & months ahead. Pray that God’s unending love surrounds them in a cloak of protection through the difficult days ahead. Pray that the Lord's Peace that surpasses all understanding guards their hearts and minds during the journey ahead.
In the few years I knew and worked with Aldo, I realized how he managed to leave a bit of himself with all he interacted with. In delivering this sad news, I was surprised to find a huge outpour of tears and sadness in return from coworkers to clients. This illness took a toll on him. Yet his faith never wavered. He put on The Armor of God every day and forged ahead as a warrior of Christ against this illness and life's challenges. He inspired me even though I did not think I needed inspiration.
He is now in the presence of our Savior, the best place there is. God bless Aldo & God bless his family. Rest in Peace Brother
