Help Us Support a Nursery & Primary School in Zanzibar

While on our honeymoon in Zanzibar, my husband and I had the opportunity to visit a local nursery and primary school that deeply touched our hearts. The school, nestled in one of the poorest areas of the island, is doing incredible work with very limited resources.
Government funding is scarce, and the school relies heavily on donations to provide even the most basic teaching materials. Despite these challenges, the staff are passionate and dedicated, doing everything they can to give the children a meaningful education, and the children are so eager to learn.
We are raising funds to support the school by sending over essential supplies such as:
- Books (educational and storybooks for all primary ages, and dictionaries)
- Learning materials (including posters, flashcards, games, puzzles)
- Stationery (pens, pencils, sharpeners, rulers, exercise books, colouring supplies, etc.)
- Calculators and other small learning tools
If we reach our fundraising goal, we also hope to purchase a printer/copier for the school – something they currently do not have but desperately need to create worksheets, learning aids, and school documents.
