Help Us Support a Father, Husband and Brother

Dear Friends,

We are reaching out today with a heavy heart, but also with hope. Khaled, a kind father, husband and friend was in the Intensive Care Unit of LAU Rizk Hospital in Lebanon due to complications from a surgery designed to spare him from starting regular kidney dialysis treatments. Khaled has been battling serious kidney issues for many years and, despite suffering from chronic illness, worked tirelessly in difficult and physically demanding jobs to ensure his four children don’t go hungry.

Khaled’s financial situation is dire and he is still in hospital with his medical bills continuing to increase. As of November 19, 2024, his bills for the ICU stand at $15,000. While we have already raised $8,000, we still need to raise another $7,000 (~£5,550) to cover these expenses and ensure he continues to receive the care he needs. He has now been relocated to another hospital but is still under close supervision.

His situation is more than just financial—it is a fight for his life and his future. His wife and children are depending on him, but their support is limited, particularly in light of the ongoing war in Lebanon.

We know these are challenging times for many, but any amount you can contribute—whether $10, $50, or more—can make a world of difference. Your donation will go directly to his medical bills and help relieve the burden on his family during this incredibly difficult time.
