I arrived in the USA in early 2023 with a Q1 visa to work for Disney in Florida. I was expecting to finish this contract and head back to France, but during that time, I have had the chance to meet and fall for my husband.

As my visa ended in April of 2024, we started taking the steps necessary to keep me here. Back then, we had started that process with USCIS and filled in an I-130. A few days ago, they responded in favor of my request, and we are now expected to file an I-485. This form costs the amount of this GoFundMe page.

I cannot legally work in the USA at this point in time, and we have been living with my husband's income since. I do not like asking for help, but I have to ask for that amount to cover the visa adjustment status.
