Help Us Stay With Our Babies
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
Over the years, my partner Audrey and I have built a beautiful little family together, including our 6-year-old daughter Bonnie, and several fur babies. Seven months ago, we received the incredible news that our family would soon be growing by two beautiful little lives instead of just one. From the very beginning, our twins have been active and healthy, filling our days with excitement and anticipation.
However, around 24 weeks into the pregnancy, we learned that Twin B had enlarged ventricles in their brain—a condition requiring close monitoring. Despite our hopes, the situation hasn’t improved over the past eight weeks. Twin B has been diagnosed with severe ventriculomegaly (water on the brain), and we’ve been referred to UC Davis for delivery. Audrey will need to be induced preterm, and Twin B will require immediate brain surgery after birth. It’s highly likely that both twins will spend at least two weeks, if not longer, in the NICU.
We’re facing a difficult reality: the hospital is 2.5 hours from home, and we’re struggling to cover the costs of travel, food, lodging, and all the unexpected expenses that come with this situation. I’m only able to take a two-week leave from work before I have to return to manage our bills.
We humbly ask for your support during this challenging time. Any help would mean the world to us. Thank you for being a part of our journey and for keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers.
With love and appreciation,
