My mom and I have been unhoused for the past month, and we’re doing our best to get through a difficult time together. She lives with disabilities that make daily life challenging, and I’m currently enrolled in EMT school, working hard to graduate in December. We’ve been staying at a motel, but our resources are running out and we’re facing the possibility of having nowhere to go very soon.

Our situation is the result of ongoing struggles with employment and mental health, which have made it hard to maintain stable housing. Despite these challenges, I’m committed to finishing my EMT program and building a better future for both of us. We’re asking for help to cover motel costs, secure temporary housing, and afford basic needs like food while I complete my training.
