I am a single mom of a brilliant young boy, and our journey has been filled with both challenges and hope. Two years ago, we moved from Miami to Georgia, hoping for a fresh start. Since then, we have faced homelessness and ongoing financial distress. Despite working hard and doing everything I can, it often feels like we are just surviving day by day. I managed to get us out of homelessness, but things are still very tight, and we are at risk of losing our home again in just a few days.


The funds from this fundraiser will help us cover rent, utilities, and food—essentials that will keep a roof over our heads and give us some breathing room. It will also allow me to keep my son in tutoring, which is so important to me because he just graduated elementary school as a board scholar in DeKalb County. I want to make sure his education continues without interruption. Beyond our immediate needs, your support will help me take the first steps toward building my nonprofit and local businesses, a dream I’ve had since I was six years old. This dream is incredibly important to me—I truly feel it is my purpose. I am a loving, nurturing person, and all I want to do is give back and help others in need. My goal is to give back to the community and help others who are struggling, just as I am now.
