I hate asking for money. It's difficult for me. I have never had a problem asking for food at a friend's house or even asking for emotional support. But never money.
Why I am asking for help:
- In November of 2021 our roommates abandoned the lease. They owe me $3000. But have to wait 30-60 days to have our court date. They also make in payments, not full.
- Marcus caught Covid for 2 weeks in January, and his job let him go. Started new job almost 2 weeks later but not didn't receive his first paycheck nearly 2 weeks after.
- February Marcus quit his new job after a few weeks to go to rehab.
- March 1st, I was forced to resign from my job, got an interview 2 days later at a different job and was offered the position that day. Start job Monday the 14th. Still 2 weeks worth of lost wages.
- Marcus took his own life...
I was going to uber for some extra cash while I waited to start my new job. Unfortunately, Marcus passed, and I had to grieve. I wasn't able to function correctly.
Rent is $1,720. I am begging for any help and assistance so that Lennox and I have time to catch up with rent this month of March. I will even take any frozen or canned food you have if you cannot donate money. I completely understand. I'm sure you've seen the 600 posts a day of how high gas prices are, I wouldn't blame you.
