Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out during a really difficult time for our family. My mom is preparing to undergo a major, life-changing surgery to have her stomach removed due to stomach cancer. This is an incredibly serious procedure, and while we’re hopeful for her recovery, it’s going to be a long and challenging road.

During her surgery and recovery, her children want to be as close to her as possible to support her, be there for updates, and help however we can. Unfortunately, the hospital is far enough from home that we need to arrange a hotel stay nearby, which is an unexpected financial burden on top of everything else we’re facing.

We’re asking for help to cover the cost of a hotel so her children can stay close by during her surgery and the days following. Being near her means everything to us—it allows us to support her emotionally, be present for doctors’ updates, and simply not feel so helpless during such a critical time.
