Hi, my name is Val and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my family as we face one of the hardest times in our lives.

Our 4-year-old son, Elijah Yzekiel, was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Burkitt’s Lymphoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. Since the diagnosis, our world has completely shifted. We’ve spent the past two weeks in the hospital, making sure Zeki gets the urgent care and treatment he needs—including chemotherapy, CT scans, blood transfusions, lumbar punctures, and daily monitoring.

Because of this, both my husband, and I have been out of work, and the bills are quickly piling up. We are now behind on our car payments, which we rely on for transportation to and from the hospital, as well as for essential errands and care for our other two children.

We’re doing everything we can to stay strong for Zeki, but the financial strain is overwhelming. We’re humbly asking for help—whether it’s a donation of any amount, a share of this fundraiser, or simply keeping Zeki in your prayers.
