We have been navigating a difficult medical journey for the past two years, and we need your help.

Three years ago, Kyle was diagnosed with a rare condition called Tenosynovial Giant Cell Tumor (TGCT), a tumor in his right knee that has slowly taken away his mobility and his ability to work. Walking is now painful and unstable, and he relies on a crutch full time. Standing for long periods is no longer possible as the tumor continues to grow.

Before Kyle’s health declined, we walked everywhere and did not rely on a vehicle. Now, many of his medical appointments are four hours away in Nashville, Tennessee, requiring frequent long-distance travel and added expenses. We currently do not have a vehicle of our own and have had to rent one just to attend appointments. Keeping up with travel, appointments, and daily living costs has become overwhelming.

Kyle urgently needs to restart his vital medication and will require additional surgery soon. Delaying treatment increases the risk of his condition worsening, so time is critical.

This week, we were displaced from our home, and we lost many of our precious belongings, including Kyle’s piano and guitar. As a professional musician, these instruments were essential tools for his work and income.

Currently, we are staying in an extended-stay hotel in Atlanta, Georgia, while searching for stable housing. We are facing medical needs, housing uncertainty, and financial strain all at once, and we are doing our best to stay hopeful.

Funds raised will go towards housing, transportation for medical appointments, restarting and continuing necessary medical treatment, and replacing essential work equipment lost during our displacement.
