My name is Coral, wife of Kelly Scott. Anyone who knows my husband is aware that he does not like to ask for help, especially financially, but recent circumstances have given us no choice. Over the weekend, Kelly wasn’t feeling well and was seen at a local emergency room. What we thought was a simple medical issue quickly became a diagnosis of cancer and emergency surgery at the ripe old age of 28. As of now, he is home recovering from said surgery, but we have a long road ahead of us before he is well again.

As unfortunate as this diagnosis is, it is extremely expensive to undergo treatment. He will need to go to numerous doctors appointments, undergo future surgeries/procedures, sit for infusions, etc. We are 45 minutes away from the closest cancer treatment center, so we will be hemorrhaging money on gas, food, prescriptions, etc., and my ability to work will be greatly impacted for the duration of his treatment.
