Help us stay afloat after unexpected dog attack

Donation protected

As many of you may know, our sweet little baby Genesis was a victim of an unprovoked dog attack by the dog we were fostering for a friend on 12/15/2020, about a month after she had already been living with us.

We were transported to Cardons children’s hospital via ambulance and started IV antibiotic treatment immediately. Genesis had surgery on her face the very next morning to close the open punctures in her face. The doctor said we were so very lucky as the dog barely missed her eye.  We were discharged from the hospital the same day and recovery time is estimated to be about 3-4 weeks.

We would love nothing more than to just be able to focus on our baby girl and her healing however having to take time off of work, we did not expect to only receive 60% of wages vs 100% through  FMLA (if it gets approved- it’s currently pending at the moment). *we actually just found out we won’t be paid for the first week at all, the reason for the goal amount change* With that being said, we have been put in a small bad financial position so close to the holidays and upcoming month for rent and other bills that will be due.

ANYTHING is appreciated, even if all you can do is share our story, we appreciate you. Thank you for taking the time to read our story. ✨
