On February 16th, I was attacked by my nephew with a knife and ultimately laid off from my job as his caretaker. My wife and I are now scrambling to prepare for the next few months in the lurch, without my income, and with our current savings will run out after just one more month of rent being paid - in part due to us owing the IRS $2,000 on top of all of this.
