Hello, my name is Karla, and today I am writing with my heart in my hands to ask for help for my mom.

Recently, our family received devastating news: my mom was diagnosed with lung cancer. In just three weeks, the tumor has grown rapidly from 5 cm to 8 cm. The lymph nodes are also affected, and because of how advanced the cancer is, my mom now depends on oxygen at all times to breathe. Doctors have told us that we cannot wait any longer and that treatment must begin as soon as possible. The cost is high, estimated at $20,000.

My mom is a strong, loving, and selfless woman who has always put her family first. Seeing her struggle to breathe has been heartbreaking, and we are doing everything we can to fight for her life. Unfortunately, the medical expenses — including tests, urgent treatments, medications, oxygen, and ongoing care — are overwhelming, and we are unable to cover them on our own.
