We have been trying for a baby for 9 years and have had a long & heartbreaking journey of operations, an ectopic pregnancy and 3 failed IVF cycles (NHS). I have no Fallopian tubes and the only way we can have our own child is through IVF. 

I work with children, young people and families in supported housing and refuge but our true hearts desire is to raise a family of our own. Unfortunately, as I am now 38 years old, we feel we have limited time left to be able to have the best chance at a happy healthy preganancy and so want to give things one last try. This money will cover one IVF cycle, travel & accommodation, and taking some time off work to be able to cope with the drugs as my body really struggles with this.

Any additional funds we don’t need will go towards freezing viable embryos or if we are fortunate enough to be successful, we will find another couple like us and donate it to help their journey.

We are not in a position to borrow this money so Dean is going to try to earn some of this money through writing music and I am going to run a half marathon on 19th May 2019 to support sponsorship as well as to prepare my body and soul for this phase of our adventure!
