Hi everyone,
We’re reaching out with as we begin an exciting new chapter of our lives together. I’m a Canadian citizen, and my fiancé is an American citizen. We’re getting married here in Canada and plan to start the immigration process right after our civil wedding so we can stay together, build a stable life, and both contribute fully to our community.
While we’re incredibly excited, the financial reality of starting this journey is a challenge. Since my fiancé won’t be able to work until we apply for and receive a work permit through the inland sponsorship process, we’re asking for help to cover the essential fees and documents we need to submit as soon as possible.
We’re raising $2,700 to cover the following costs:
Civil marriage registration (administrative fees only)
Passport renewal
Visitor visa extension
Inland spousal sponsorship application
Permanent residency application
Open work permit (so he can begin working as soon as possible)
We’re doing everything we can to keep costs low and move quickly. Any support—whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this page—would mean so much to us and bring us closer to starting our life together on solid ground.
Thank you for being part of our journey. ❤️
With love and gratitude,
Matt and Helly

Let me know if you'd like to include a breakdown of the costs or add any personal details (like how you met, when you're getting married, etc.) to help make it even more personal.
