As two men, our path to a baby runs through an egg donor, IVF and a gestational surrogate. It's a wonderful path, and a very expensive one.

What's left: surrogacy

The surrogacy agency's fee is $95,000, and families usually spend $110,000 to $125,000 in total once other costs are added. We're raising $129,000 to cover our surrogate's compensation and medical care, plus agency and legal fees.
