My husband and I are in need of funds for fertility treatment called IVF. We have had four ectopic pregnancies, so IVF is needed in order for us to have a baby. Neither of our insurances offer coverage for this, and IVF expenses are very expensive. We researched and found a low-cost, high volume IVF clinic in Florida. Even with travel expenses included, going to this clinic will be a fraction of the cost in comparison to our local fertility clinic. Even so, this treatment will cost us thousands of dollars, so we need all the help we can get, especially because I am a graduate student and unable to work full-time.

Donations will cover treatment, including medication, egg retrieval procedure, and embryo transfer procedure, as well as travel expenses. It is unfortunate that IVF does not have coverage under many health insurances. Infertility is a disease and deserves to have treatment coverage, but unfortunately that is not the case. Local jobs that do have IVF coverage would come with a significant paycut, which is not helpful. We are so thankful for the support we receive, and thank you for your consideration and generosity!
