My name is Aspen, and my husband Andy and I are beginning our fertility journey. After undergoing initial testing, we learned that fertility treatment will be required for us to start a family. Unfortunately, our insurance does not cover any fertility-related expenses, so every step of this process will be an out-of-pocket cost for us. We are now working directly with a fertility clinic, but more testing is needed before we can move forward. The financial burden of these treatments and tests is significant, and it’s a challenge we never expected to face.
