My roommate Jae and I are preparing for a big move in the next two months, and we’re reaching out for support as we face some difficult circumstances. I am disabled and currently going through a divorce, which has made things especially challenging. Jae is struggling to keep up with student loans, and both of us are actively searching for jobs. With all of these pressures, the costs of moving and securing a new place have become overwhelming, and we are at risk of homelessness if we can’t get the help we need.
