Help us start Courtney's Angels

As we continue to honor the legacy of our beloved Courtney Osegueda, we want to help the families of other homicide victims with the formation of Courtney's Angels, a 501c3 that would provide immediate assistance when unthinkable and unexpected tragedies strike.

Our aim is to take care of the immediate families of homicide victims in the aftermath of a death. This would include basics like meals and emotional support and more complex things like helping with funeral plans and expenses.

Courtney was killed on Feb. 25, 2021, by a reckless driver in a hit-and-run accident. It was senseless and heartbreaking. When it happened, our family didn't know what to do, how to proceed, how to balance grief with the necessary things that needed to happen after a death occurs.

It's with this in mind that we want to launch Courtney's Angels. To help other families. To honor Courtney. To have her spirit live on for something that matters.

Money raised here would help with the formation costs of the 501c3 and provide the first round of funding for helping other families. Courtney's Angels would first launch in the Fresno/Clovis area, with hopes of expanding to other areas around California and, hopefully, the U.S.
