Oleksandr Bortnik story has become a legend of the modern chess world. He was born in a small Ukrainian province. Yet of the age of 18 he became the most promising Junior chess players in the world. In 2001 thanks to support of his parents and a Generous American citizen named Michael Oleksandr made it to his first chess competition. His talent was quickly noticed After six year old boy showed A level of performance in a regional chess championship. Now he’s being a strong chess grandmaster and keeps developing his career and also is dreaming to let every child study chess no matter where they come from. Oleksandr has found a chess school in Ukraine that nowadays welcomes more than 180 students to its regular chess classes and competitions. With the help of his wife, Yauheniya Bortnik, he opened a chess school in Miami, Florida and after the 1st year the school had more than 60 students. We want to continue to make chess more popular around the US and that is why we are collecting money to open new schools in other big and small cities. Our schools also have free programs for talented kids. Every dollar you donate will help Oleksander,  Yauheniya and their students to make their dreams come true so they can play serious chess together like the real champions.
