Help Us Start a New Life, With Hope, Not Fear

Hi everyone,

We’re reaching out with full hearts and a deep hope for a fresh start.

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost two years, but from the moment we met, it felt like we had already known each other forever. We fell in love instantly, and since that day, we’ve been inseparable, supporting each other through life’s challenges and dreaming about a future that feels safe, joyful, and free.

Now, we’re making a big and sudden decision, one that feels both terrifying and necessary. We’re leaving the U.S. in search of something better. We’re chasing the chance to lay down roots in a place that doesn’t feel scary, where we can breathe deeply and live authentically. We’re also excited to reconnect with my boyfriend’s heritage and family, something that feels healing and grounding for both of us.

This leap is coming quickly, and while we are fully committed to making it work, the financial side is overwhelming. We’re humbly asking for help covering the costs that will get us there:

Breaking our lease early

Paying off the remainder of our car

Moving expenses (flights, shipping, temporary housing)

A small cushion to help us stay afloat as we settle in and find jobs in our new country
