For the past 15 years, my wife and I have owned and operated a commercial cleaning company. While we are proud of the business we’ve built, the physical demands have started to take a toll on our bodies. After so many years of hard work, we’re ready for a new chapter—one that allows us to work from home and involve our children in the process. We have five children, three of whom still live at home, and we’ve been married for 26 years. Our dream is to start a laser engraving business that not only brings our family together but also creates inspirational and motivational products for others. We also hope to collaborate with local businesses to craft unique merchandise and promotional items.

The funds from this fundraiser will go directly toward purchasing the laser engraving machine we need to get started. Unfortunately, traditional financing hasn’t been an option for us. The winter months and the current economy have forced us to rely on credit cards just to keep our home heated and food on the table. That’s why this machine is so crucial—it will help us create a new revenue stream and, hopefully, eventually surpass what our cleaning company provides.
