Dear Friends and Family,
For those who know me, you are aware of how much my children mean to me, especially my youngest son, Zachary. At 23 years old, Zachary is a hardworking young man with strong Christian values and a deep passion for humanitarian work and animal rescue. He had been working diligently to save for a classic Ford truck and was preparing to pursue a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences.
Unfortunately, our lives took an unexpected turn when Zachary was diagnosed with testicular cancer on Christmas Day. Since then, we have navigated emergency surgery and are now beginning his chemotherapy journey. Because his specialists and treatments are located in Fort Worth, we are currently staying there to ensure he receives the care he needs.
We are facing significant financial challenges as Zachary’s insurance did not take effect until February 1st. The costs for his initial treatments, surgery, and medication, as well as our lodging and travel expenses, have become overwhelming. Furthermore, his doctors have recommended specialized therapies that are not fully covered by insurance, requiring substantial out-of-pocket costs.
As Zachary is unable to work and I am serving as his full-time caretaker, we are reaching out for assistance. My goal is to raise $20,000 to cover these medical expenses and ensure Zachary can focus entirely on his recovery without the added stress of financial ruin.
Any contribution you can make, or even sharing this post with others, would mean more to our family than words can express. Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support during this incredibly difficult time.
With gratitude,
Olivia McCrory
