Our dad recently celebrated 37 years clean and sober. In August, while riding his Harley to chair his weekly AA meeting, our dad was hit by a car. This was a major devastation for our family, friends, and the people whose lives he has touched over the years. He's had several surgeries, has many internal and external injuries, and has been in the ICU for over 2 months. The surgeries are only the beginning; he now faces a long and challenging road back to recovery.

We have had so many people asking, "What can they do to help?" It's never easy asking for assistance when in need. After looking at all the added expenses and uncertainty with his ongoing care and support, we realized some help with his road to recovery is needed.

We are asking for donations as the unanticipated expenses keep rising while navigating everyday life. The donation will also help support all the people caring for Dad in his time of need, e.g., nurses, doctors, etc. Our family has taken leave from work to support and be with him. Any donation will help ease some of the financial burden this accident has caused us. These funds will be essential for helping our family assist with his hospital stay and recovery!
