Dear family, friends, and compassionate community,

It is with a completely broken heart that I share that my sweet mom, Pam Shaul Terrell, has passed away after her fierce fight in the ICU.

While we are grieving this loss deeply, we take comfort in knowing that she was surrounded by immense love in her final moments. Thanks to the generosity and support of so many, my father, myself, and other family members were able to be right by her side, holding her hand as she transitioned. Being there for her final days was something we all valued above everything, and it was time that I truly needed with her.

Because I want to be 100% transparent with everyone who has kindly supported us, I want to clearly outline exactly where these funds are going so you know how your support is making a direct impact:

Direct Support for My Father: A portion of these funds will go directly to my dad to help him cover his mounting living expenses, medical bills, and logistical costs during this overwhelming transition without my mom.

Covering My Unpaid Time Off at Her Bedside: A portion of the funds will go directly to me to help cover the two full weeks of completely unpaid leave I took to be with her. Going without an income while raising my two young children at home has left my household facing a severe financial strain, and this will help keep our basic bills afloat.

Celebration of Life Memorial Costs: Funds will be used to pay for her upcoming memorial service next month so our family can give her the beautiful farewell she deserves.

Family Travel Expenses: Assisting with the travel and gas costs incurred by family members who traveled long distances to be at the hospital far from home.

My mom lived her life with an open heart, fighting through so much to be there for my dad, her kids, and her grandbabies. All she ever wanted was to be a Memaw and to love her family.
