Help us Spread the Word about Practical Faith

Hello, I’m Andre Amsing, an English Canadian living in France for the last 40 years. (married to a French woman). After years of being involved in personal evangelism and Bible teaching with both French and English speakers I’m aware that as a layman, I may have a lot to share with people who know something about God but don’t commit to a relationship with Jesus for various reasons.

Who is this for?

We all need encouragement from the Bible

Many are so close … but can’t see the usefulness of the Bible in daily life. Business owners and people working in their profession need to be encouraged daily. And the website Biblefaithmadepractical is full of testimonies and examples from the Bible of ordinary people walking by faith and trusting in God’s word. This is the case also (in French for all french speaking countries (in Africa, France, Guadeloupe, Martinique, and provinces like Quebec) with the website egliseenligne.

How are we reaching them?

Today people go online (especially with the Covid) to find the information they want. So that is where Christian witnesses need to go to meet them. And with your support, I’d like to expand the presence of these websites as well as the number of subscribers.

Besides the articles, BFMP (Bible Faith made Practical), as well as Eglise en Ligne (Church online), has a subscription service with short biblical motivational messages that encourage people to keep God and His ways “top of mind”. They receive a message in their inbox 3 times per week (for now).

Also, it should help Christians who want to witness to friends and neighbors to follow up with them by registering them to the series, “Stand Up, Stand Out” Motivation from the Bible.

The Stand Up, Stand Out motivation series allows a new Christian to get a walkthrough of the Bible over a year or two. And they are also encouraged to recognize the fact that putting their faith into practice is the most useful thing they can do to deepen their spiritual life.

Each message is a 3-5 minute read with bible verses in the text. We show how well-known Bible characters put their faith into practice.

Training new workers

I pray also for new workers to “Stand Up” to enter into the ministry God has called them to.

I need help also for France where interest in the Bible is quite high but low in commitment to going to church or at least a Bible study. Actually, the “Stand Up” messages could be used as a basis for bible studies and prayer meetings.

They will have the opportunity to read about people who have put their faith into practice. I believe in the area of Haute Savoie (French Alpes where I live) there are at least 1400 persons who know God and could join His people if someone could reach them and call them out of their inertia.

What the funds will be used for

• Help produce a video and podcast for each message. Each message will also have a postcard (with the key bible text) they can download as well as a PDF of the text in case they want to put it into a 3-ring binder to study later or to copy for distribution in their evangelistic Bible Study.

• For french, be able to recruit a corrector or a virtual assistant (VA) (french is not my first language)

• Later we could publish on Amazon Kindle (virtual) or CreateSpace (physical books)

• expand my reach and get more readers and subscribers. There are different ways to reach new readers. I am especially interested in encouraging entrepreneurs and other professionals. But all are welcome.

I have the possibility to publish “press releases” for each article in 450 top authority websites like US Today to get more reach. (Cost $150 each but lower prices in bulk) It only works for English-speaking sites, but I will link back to my French site so that millions of French speakers can get the same information in their native language.

When do I need these funds for?

As you can see, the first articles are done, and I have 25 messages (almost) ready which cover the first two months.

But I would like to get started as early as possible in 2022.
