Hi, my name is Reham Teama; I am the Executive Director of the Arabic Canadian Book Fair. In 2022, I dreamed of having such a great place where book lovers can come together to learn about Arabic culture and heritage through books in Arabic, English, and French. Also, through visual arts like Arabic calligraphy and Art Galleries. The dream came true in 2023, On July 1 was the first edition, and in 2024, we became national in 5 provinces. But believe it or not, it is all my savings. I need to work on a fundraising campaign to keep this momentum going. We believe in the power of community: when we come together in force, no donation is too small to make a difference.

Funds will support the venue rental as it became 3 times the rate we used to get since our first edition. In addition to advertising campaigns in order to spread the word and invite our audience. Partial funds will be allocated to cover some touring expenses, as we try to keep our commitment of being the only and first National Arab Canadian Literary festival.
