Hello all, we are Hope Motivates! Dustin and Lyndsey Hawk (Army Veterans) and family have been through so much. We met in 2017, and married in 2018. I quickly became a newlywed, step-mom, and mom. I went back to work after maternity leave March 17th, 2019, and took the Army Physical Fitness Test less than 4 months after Jessie was born. Dustin took this same test, and this changed our life. He collapsed during the run with a reason unknown, and due to lack of medical attention suffered an anoxic brain injury.

We moved suddenly from Fort Polk, Louisiana to San Antonio, Texas and paid out of pocket for a hotel stay for 30 plus days, and got into an apartment lease for more than the allotted money the Army gave us. We never caught up from that debt as we kept accruing unexpected bills, even with the inheritance I had to blow through my grandparents passing!

We have been through a lot of legal issues unfortunately due to guardianship and false accusations and that’s not cheap and very mentally exhausting!

It would be helpful to have all debt paid off and to move forward comfortably and freely share and inspire others. We have a beautiful home, but even that comes with issues and the unexpected. Just after moving we found out we inherited raccoons. That was a pretty penny to evict them.

We are moving forward paying for some medical supplies and to give Dustin the best quality of life! Thank you for any and all support!
