Hello my loves,

For those who don’t know me, my name is Karina de la Cruz, and I have the honor of running La Posibilidad. I want to begin by thanking God for continuously guiding this mission year after year. This work has never been just about giving; it’s about showing up for children who deserve to feel seen, valued, and supported.

Every year, we arrive with our hands full, but we always leave with our hearts even fuller. The smiles, the laughter, and the gratitude of these children remind us exactly why this mission matters. Because of your generosity, we’ve been able to create over 200 smiles and counting.

As many of you know, every year on my birthday, I open our fundraising season — where we collect items from our wishlist and raise funds to fill in any gaps so we can support these children in every way possible. This year is extra special. It’s not only Year 3 of La Posibilidad, but it’s also the year I turn 30.

So for everyone who’s been asking what I want for my big 30th birthday — this is it. A birthday gift of giving. Whether it’s purchasing an item from our wishlist or making a donation to La Posibilidad, your kindness helps rewrite the stories of children who deserve to believe that their future is bigger than their circumstances.
