We came across Mary one day in a dirt field sitting in her truck. The trash bags hanging out of her drivers seat window were what drew us in. She has lived in her truck for 13 YEARS and stores all of her belongings in the backseat and passenger side of the vehicle making it unusable. She is currently sleeping in an upright position every night with a wooden board as a backrest to make more space for her things. When we approached her, she was very willing to share her story and kindness. The best thing about Mary is that she's very grateful for her situation and always has a smile on her face. She has no family or support and is in desperate need of a new living condition, wheelchair, and medical expenses that insurance won't cover.
