Hi! We are Arthur and Candy Ornelas, and we are excited to share that we are returning to Brazil for another mission trip! Last year, through your incredible support, we had the opportunity to serve in São Paulo with The River Church and Chapel Pointe Church. That experience not only deepened our love for missions but also reaffirmed God’s calling over our lives for ministry.

Since then, we have taken a big step of faith by completing an assessment through the Send Network and beginning a Church Plant Residency. We are preparing to help grow The River Church by launching a campus location when God says the time is right. This journey has been humbling, stretching, and faith-building, and we are so grateful for everyone who has supported us along the way!

This year’s trip is particularly special because it will be the first mission trip led by The River Church! Our main focus will be hosting a Vacation Bible School (VBS) to share the Gospel with children and families, creating a fun and engaging space where they can learn about Jesus. In addition to VBS, we will also be sharing our testimonies to encourage and inspire others in their faith journey, visiting families in their homes to build relationships and pray with them.

We know that none of this is possible without God’s provision and the support of a loving community. Would you consider partnering with us in prayer and financial support? The cost of the trip this year is $2,150 per person, and we trust that if God has called us, He will provide the way.
