At HGBIC Productions our mission is to spotlight the voices and experiences that often go unheard, giving audiences something they can truly identify with.
We believe in the power of storytelling to connect, heal, and inspire. We are a creative collective dedicated to writing, producing, and bringing to life meaningful stage and screen productions that timelessly resonate with real people and real stories.
Our work explores iconic historical figures through a connected lens—peeling back the layers of fame, politics, and culture to reveal the people behind the legends.
Our most recent production, “Happy Birthday, Mr. President,” explored the complex and often misunderstood relationship between Marilyn Monroe and President John F. Kennedy. This deeply moving show offered new insight into two American icons, reminding us of the vulnerability, desire, and pressure they both faced in the public eye as well as behind the scenes.
We are now proud to present our upcoming show, Josephine, a powerful and vibrant portrayal of the legendary Josephine Baker—a dancer, singer, spy and activist who broke barriers and lived a life of fearless authenticity with a spirit that transcends space and time. This production honors her legacy as not only an entertainer but also a resistance fighter, civil rights activist, and symbol of liberation.
Your support will help us continue to develop, produce, and share these stories with wider audiences. Funds raised will go toward production costs, venue space, costumes, marketing, and outreach programs that make our shows accessible to more communities.
If you believe in the magic of storytelling and the importance of seeing yourself reflected on stage and screen, we invite you to join us on this journey. Every donation—big or small—makes a meaningful difference, truly.
Help us continue telling stories that matter. Help us connect hearts through art.
With love, gratitude, and hope,
