Help us send Robin (Babbu) home,A young soul gone too soon.

With deep sadness, we are sharing the heartbreaking loss of our dear friend, Robin Singh Buttar (Babbu).

Robin was born in November 2002 in Punjab, India, and came to Canada in 2022 as an international student with big dreams and a bright future ahead of him. He was a kind, caring, and loving soul who always put others before himself. His friends knew him as someone who was always ready to help, always smiling, and someone who made every moment feel lighter and warmer with his presence.

On Tuesday, September 23rd, 2025, Robin was involved in a tragic bike accident on the Sea to Sky Highway in Squamish. He was rushed to Vancouver General Hospital and admitted to the ICU with severe brain injuries. For days, his loved ones prayed for a miracle. But on Saturday, September 27th, Robin peacefully left this world while still in the ICU.

His loss has left a deep emptiness in our hearts. Robin was only 22 years old, with his whole life ahead of him. His parents, back home in Punjab, are devastated beyond words and waiting to see their son one last time.

We are starting this fundraiser to raise money to send Robin’s body back to India, so that his parents and family can give him the final farewell he deserves. It is the last and most important thing we can do for him- to reunite him with his family and allow them to perform his final rites in his homeland.
