Dear friends and family,

It is a great joy to announce that Maya has an opportunity to travel to Italy for 10 days with her women's competitive water polo team. The athletes on the team have been busy fundraising for the past 6 months and have earned a total of $20, 000!

Maya must now earn an additional $1, 700 on her own to attend. While it is humbling to ask for donations, we recognize that sometimes it takes a village to fulfill the dreams of our children. Maya is now 16 and living a full and beautiful life. She maintains above a 4.0 GPA and is a dedicated athlete (swim team, dive, and water polo). Maya also works at the pool as a lifeguard and teaches swim lessons before and after school and on the weekends.

We recognize this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and we appreciate any financial support she may receive. Every little bit helps!
