Help us see our son in NICU unit

Hello everyone, my name is Keith Ruvolo. This fundraiser is for our beautiful baby boy, Niko. On Jan 25, 2022 at 10:26 pm our precious little one entered the world prematurely at just 26 weeks with what we thought was just an infection. Things changed overnight and he was immediately transferred from Spotsylvania Hospital to a level llll NICU in Henrico. At that point, little did we know, he was suffering greater than we could have imagined. Although he is a feisty little guy, he's been through so much already in the three weeks we have been blessed so far to have him in the world. What seemed to be promising advancement in NICU quickly turned to panic and worry. Little Niko suffered a very serious grade 4 brain bleed just a week after his arrival. Since then he's undergone several head ultrasounds and blood work that doesn't seem to end. He's a fighter, but this is hard. The news of his ultrasound opened many variables to his development from here on out. Once home from the hospital he will continue therapy in many forms, but he is still months away from coming home to us. Given that he is nearly 2 hours away and that we have no vehicle of our own, it's proven very difficult to make it to the hospital as often as we would like to be there for him. We want to be there for our son. He deserves so much better than what he's been going through in the short time he has been here. We are asking for donations to help us with a vehicle of our own so that we can spend the time with him that he so desperately needs. Times are hard and this surpasses anything difficult we thought we were facing before. Donations are greatly appreciated. All we want is to bring our beautiful Niko home and until then at least have the means to visit with him and have face to face correspondence with his medical team.
