Hi, we're Amanda and Nate, a couple who took a chance on a restaurant that had been sitting empty for years.

We didn’t have some big plan or investors behind us. We cashed out our retirement, jumped all in, and have been figuring it out as we go. Long days, a lot of mistakes, but we’ve been giving it everything we’ve got.

This place means a lot to us. Not just as a business, but something we want to build for our family and for the community.

Recently, we found out the property next door could end up playing a big role in what happens to us long term.

Things like parking, space, and just being able to grow could all depend on what happens with that property.

We’ve also seen a pattern around here where properties get bought and then just sit. And honestly, that worries us. We don’t want to pour everything into this just to end up stuck because of something we couldn’t control.

So instead of waiting to see what happens, we’re trying to go after it ourselves and buy it.

The truth is, it’s expensive. Way more than we can just pull together on our own. We’re doing everything we can on our end, but we also know we might need some help to make it happen.

This isn’t going to cover the whole cost, but it would make a real dent and give us a shot.
