My family and I recently moved into a rental property after spending over a year living in a motel. We finally found a place that feels like home, but we’re struggling to come up with the last month’s rent and the deposit in a short amount of time. Our landlord has decided not to accept payments any longer, which has made things even more stressful for us.

Having a stable home means everything to us after what we’ve been through.

My husband is a retired military combat veteran that has PTSD and this is the first place where we can truly see ourselves settling in and building a future.
