Help Us Secure a Safe Home in Grand Junction

Hi, my name is Brian Garrett, Many of you know me as Severin Darastrix, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my partner and myself as we work toward finding stable housing here in Grand Junction, Colorado.

I am living with a disability, and my partner and I are both on a very limited income. We’ve found a safe and affordable apartment, but the upfront costs of moving—especially the security deposit and first month's rent—are more than we can manage on our own right now.

Here’s what we need to move in:

$2,800 for the security deposit

$925 for first month’s rent

$250 for basic moving costs (transportation, supplies, etc.)

We are asking for help to raise $3,975 so that we can secure this home and avoid becoming unhoused. We’ve been applying for assistance and reaching out to local programs, but funds are limited, and waitlists are long. We are doing everything we can, and with a little help, we know we can get through this difficult moment.
