This past year has been incredibly challenging for me and the kids financially. I usually can see a way out and get there so I don't ask for help, this time I am desperate and asking.

My original work van broke down last winter, which made it difficult to keep up with work and daily responsibilities/appointments for the kids. Just a week later, a severe ice storm hit our area in January, and our SUV became frozen to the road and broke down completely. Losing both vehicles in such a short time was devastating, but I tried to stay hopeful for my family and was able to procure a van for work that was listed as in great condition only for it to be on deaths door three months into owning it.

Unfortunately, things became even more difficult when the head gasket on that newest van broke just a few days ago. With no other options, I had to sell that van just to cover the rent and keep a roof over our heads. Since then, I have been using my stepson's electric bike to get to my overnight shifts, no matter the weather and temperature, and have been taking extra shifts to try and cover all the bills as fast as possible. It has been cold and emotionally and physically exhausting, but I am determined to do whatever it takes to provide for the kids and keep us safe.

I have been approved for financing on a car, but I need help paying the remaining balance for the down payment. Your support would not only help me secure a vehicle and get back to working safely immediately but it would also allow me to return to doing Doordash and Instacart, which are essential for maintaining our financial stability. I have had to shut down the cleaning business for the winter because it is not profitable until the spring hits. Most importantly, it would keep my children from becoming homeless during the winter. Any help you can give would mean the world to us and help us move forward during this difficult time.
