Jessica Zrinski, age 30, was last seen in the Blue Mountains area around 9 am on Tuesday, November 29th 2022. Despite exhaustive efforts by police, funding has been depleted and her family is seeking closure and answers. Our goal is to conduct a thorough, organised search of the area believed to be her last location where her body may have been dumped.
The search is planned for March 2026, with the exact date to be confirmed. This terrain is rugged and challenging, requiring expert management, advanced technology like drones and satellite imagery, and professional search teams experienced in locating human remains. To ensure safety and effectiveness, we need to cover costs for:
- Drones and visibility technology
- Expert professionals in search and recovery
- Insurance and public liability cover
- Personal safety equipment for volunteers
- Catering for our volunteers
- GPS devices and satellite phones
- Portable toilets and sanitation facilities
- Search operations base setup including hiring a caravan or large tents
The area has no running water or cooking facilities, so all resources must be brought in. We've also considered collaborating with local organisations like the Lions Club and Salvation Army, who have supported similar efforts in the past. Media advertising, signage, and coordination are also part of the plan to maximise visibility and safety.
