With a sense of fear, trepidation, and excitement, we are raising funds to cross the Bass Strait in sea kayaks in 2023! We are no professionals, just a crew of 4 (Emily, Bryce, James and Jesse) who have had a dream of crossing the lauded Bass Strait while raising money for the brilliant Australian Marine Conservation Society.

The trip is over 320km from the mainland to Tassie. We will be starting our journey from Wilson’s Prom, heading south to Hogan Group, then onto Deal Island, before making the most significant jump of the trip to Flinders Island. From there, we make our way down the coast of Flinders, finally ending up in Musselroe Bay, Tasmania. We anticipate the trip to take 2-3 weeks if the weather gods are with us.
