As working parents, we leave our children in the hands of preschool workers each day and ask them to provide education, meals, and playtime. We want them to be safe and cared for while we’re away. On March 12, the women at Bricks Learning Center had to take it a step further for our little Emily when her asthma attack was worse than ever before. Breathing treatments weren’t helping and her oxygen level was dangerously low. Halie, Jenna, and Courtney cared for our daughter like she was their own. They called 911, rode with her in the ambulance (a scary first for our 3 year old), and they waited with her (medical file in hand) until we could reach the hospital. This terrifying drive to the hospital was eased by the fact that we knew she was not alone and was with someone that cared about her and kept her calm. We will forever be grateful to them for their quick reaction and compassion. They have some wish list items (play center living and kitchen furniture for a few rooms, etc) that they hoped to secure grants for, but the grants haven’t been approved. Would you be willing to help them purchase these items for the school to help Emily, her friends and future kids enjoy Bricks Learning Center?? These women LOVE these kids and we want to show them just how LOVED and APPRECIATED they are. Any littlebit will help!! Thank you so much!! Love, the Carters. ❤️
